Team Awesome continuously assists AQUA Corps with charitable programs and projects, including their Sponsor-a-Family holiday initiative. Last Christmas, Team Awesome fundraised to donate gifts to a family in need.
Norristown natives Jay Atlas (an honorary Team Awesome member) and Shannon Sprow are on an amazing journey to walk across the entire U.S. Beginning on July 15th in Atlantic City, NJ, the two began their walk with the ultimate goal of raising money and awareness to help end human trafficking. They plan to reach Los Angeles, CA sometime in mid-October. To date, Team Awesome has donated $500 to Jay and Shannon and will continue their support and donations.

Team Awesome coordinated and hosted their own dodgeball tournament titled "The Pink Bowl" to benefit the Phoenixville's YMCA Pink Confetti program. The team donated $500 in proceeds to the cause.
ABOUT Pink Confetti is a free program developed by the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA in collaboration with Phoenixville Hospital. Designed exclusively for breast cancer survivors, this program is recommended for those adults who have nearly or recently completed their breast cancer treatment. With the support of trained YMCA staff members, participants will learn how to safely reenter a healthy way of living through fitness and education.
During the 9th annual NDL Dodgeball World Championship event in Las Vegas, Nevada, Team Awesome spent time with the Salvation Army's Boys & Girls Club. Walmart gift cards valued at $200 were donated from the team to the organization, and friendly games of dodgeball were played between the team and some of the youth.

After earning first place in both the Pro and College Dodgeball Divisions of Chick-fil-A’s 2012 Charity Sports Challenge, Team Awesome donated $1,000 in vouchers of free Chick-fil-A combo meals to the nonprofit organization.
ABOUT Team Up is the first after-school program of its kind in the country, with nearly 2,000 students registered in Team Up activities. As a non-profit organization, Team Up promotes academic and athletic activities primarily in Richmond City middle schools. Student members learn to cultivate their athletic abilities while linking sports with academic achievement and mentoring.
During their trip to Los Angeles to compete in the 2013 Dodgeball Nation tournament, Team Awesome spent a day lending a hand and volunteering at the LA Regional Food Bank. The Team helped sort thousands of boxed and canned goods to be shipped out to food distribution channels across the community.
ABOUT Since 1973, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has been the heart of charitable food distribution networks, which includes over 600 charitable agency sites, throughout the community. The organization fights hunger and starvation by sourcing and acquiring food and then distributing to the people in need.
